CHILDREN AND YOUTH
IS THERE ANYTHING FOR MY CHILDREN/TEENAGERS?
At our Morning Service, the children/teenagers start off in the main church and there is singing and a talk especially for younger children. There is a crèche if needed and can be found at the back of the church in the main meeting room so parents can still be part of the main service and the other children go into their various groups- depending on the age group they have Bible Stories, craft and singing. The older young people go upstairs to F2G, where they study the Bible in a modern and relevant way. If your children don’t wish to go out to any of these groups then that is fine. We also have all age services at certain times of the year and everyone stays together in church for these.
Our Evening Services tend to be of a more traditional nature, but obviously children are still most welcome.
F2G - FOR THOSE IN YR 8 TO YR 11
F2G (Footsteps to God) is a group of young friendly teenagers from Year 8 to the end of Year 11, that meet each Sunday morning between 10.45-12.00. F2G is a time for our youth to learn and grow in their relationship with God. We start off in the main church for a time of worship to which many of the group are musicians and play in the worship band. For the rest of the morning, we go upstairs to talk and explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, relevant way, often with the use of media and of course with tea, coffee and biscuits! Currently we are exploring Youth Alpha.
