He related to us how he had been brought-up with his six brothers in a good Christian home and how difficult he had found it to witness to his own Christian faith once he had left home and “gone into the world” so to speak. He spoke of various methods of reaching people for the Lord, but was of the opinion that personal evangelism probably came highest on the list. He pointed out that there were many unnamed, anonymous, ordinary people just like all of us, who are willing to “talk about Jesus” to those with whom they come into contact day by day. He sought to challenge us that the fire within our hearts needs to be released and that we need to seek boldness from the Holy Spirit to flood our souls and set us free. He mentioned that our freedom may be getting scarce and that we need to be spontaneous and effective when opportunities arise to share Jesus with others. Indeed we all need to become “Contagious Christians”.
